Could you take a peek for us little guys?

Hello. My name is Don Keeler and I am the CTO of Lumen Software and I am asking for your help!

We are the little guys in the middle of the giants of Microsoft, IBM and Red Hats JBoss... and we truly have a much more mature and amazingly robust framework! Seriously. We also happen to have selected all the technologies considered the best practice today 4 years ago, LAMP / AJAX / SaaS / ERP / SOA / Memcache and YES FIREFOX!!! The Firefox team has created one fast, AWESOME browser. Yes we are IE compatible after writing literally thousands upon thousands of extra code just to make it compliant or provide the same robust functionality Lumenation users enjoy from Firefox just so some IT personnel can protect their claim that IE is more secure (wow), runs faster (60's were hard on some) and is the preferred browser (their users do not have any choice).

Anyway, I am here today creating this blog to see if you are a person who wants a personal portal to store documents on, create your own WOW website using our browser based amazing web content management system (WeBCMS), Image gallery or maybe you area developer who wants to start a project 75% completed because of all the functionality the Lumenation framework provides. I am not kidding here. Do the big guys, or anyone provide inherent record locking - no, do they provide three levels of journaling (record access/update, user access, user application access) - no, do they provide an AJAX "virtual desktop" in a browser. NOTE: WE ARE NOT A TERMINAL SERVICES product. We can launch terminal service RDP, etc. sessions from our desktop yes, but we are NOT Terminal Services) - no, is their entire environment based upon PHP - no, do they even provide a built in source manager which provides versioning through automatically creating the update bundle - no, and when I say we just barely scratched the service, thats what we just did! And did I mention Lumenation has been in productive use for almost 4 years as well! Just so you know we do alot in education and that all web based systems we have seen do not have record locking and allow users to over write each others data, yikes! I don't know how any IT person could ever install or maintain something which has no data integrity and of which does not meet the FERPA or HIIPA requirements for record ACCESS tracking. I did not say update, which none do either for every instance of update anyway, but just accessing a record has to be tracked. No system provides this either. So please look at our information and when the new release comes out please tell me what you like, don't like, thoughts, opinions, anything. Hey I know I have a lot of sweat in this, but I also know this will help people ALOT! People can do REAL things of value in Lumenation not possible in other system. Anyway if you have an interest please check it out and let me know what you think!

Oh by the way I did not mention that Lumenation is a FREE download and license to use, no gimmics. We sell modules that run within our environment like a Student Information Management System, Help Desk Management, etc. but anyone can use it as they wish and develop within the framework using our Free Lumenation SDK as well.

We are getting ready to launch our Lumenation 7.0 version middle of this month, March. We have really aimed at the personal user, small business users and developers in this version which is very exciting to me.

Anyway thank you for your time and we appreciate your support. We are a different type of company who wants to provide you with real tools, that do real work, and let you have fun doing it! www.lumensoftware.com

We just started using Lumenation to develp a Web 2.0 system. We completed an entire model in less than one week! Great work and where were you the last three years we wasted on .NET.
